Biography
Ton Hegge (1920–1944) was a Dutch resistance fighter who joined the struggle against Nazi occupation during the Second World War. From his early twenties, he risked his safety to fight for Dutch independence and freedom.
Hegge's life was cut short in 1944 when he fell in the resistance movement. His remains were interred at Begraafplaats Tolsteeg, where he is honored as one of the many brave individuals who gave their lives for the liberation of the Netherlands.
