Biography
Tony Brise's brief but brilliant career began on the British club circuits, where his natural sense of speed and calm under pressure saw him rise through Formula Ford and Formula Three before attracting the attention of the wider world of Grand Prix racing.
In early 1975 he joined Graham Hill's fledgling Embassy Hill team and fans were already celebrating the promise of the young driver when a flying accident near Farnborough claimed his life; visitors at Eltham Cemetery and Crematorium continue to remember the talent that was so sadly cut short.
