Biography

Tsuneki Kurushima (1860–1889) was a passionate activist whose brief but impactful life was dedicated to social and political reform during Japan's transformative Meiji period. Despite his youth, he demonstrated remarkable commitment to advancing progressive causes and advocating for meaningful change in Japanese society.

Kurushima's activism reflected the idealism of his generation, as young intellectuals sought to shape Japan's future during a time of modernization and social upheaval.
