Una McMahan was born in 1871 and became known as a quiet but powerful advocate for kindness, especially toward families facing hardship. She gave freely of her time to local schools and relief efforts, encouraging others to follow her example.

Her cheerful presence and gentle guidance are still recalled with gratitude, and she rests in Rosehill Cemetery among grateful friends.
