Biography
Uri Ilan, born in 1935, served his country with courage as a member of the Israel Defense Forces, embodying the highest ideals of sacrifice and loyalty. His capture and tragic martyrdom during the 1954-55 conflict inspired generations to remember the cost of freedom.
