Biography

Václav John was a resident of Roudnice nad Labem who lived from 1886 to 1955. He witnessed the transformative decades of the twentieth century in Bohemia, experiencing both the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the subsequent Czechoslovak state.

John's life spanned a period of significant historical change in Central Europe. He was laid to rest in Roudnice nad Labem cemetery, where his memory is preserved among the community he called home.
