Biography
Václav Karafiát (1794–1874) was a writer whose literary works contributed to the intellectual and cultural heritage of his time. As an author, he gave voice to the ideas, experiences, and sensibilities of his era, participating in the rich literary traditions of Central Europe during the nineteenth century.
Karafiát's dedication to writing reflected his passion for literature and his commitment to meaningful expression through the written word. He was interred in the protestant cemetery in Telecí following his death in 1874, remembered as a contributor to the literary culture of his community.
