Biography
Václav Truhlář was a Czech resident of Prague who lived during a transformative period in Central European history. Born in 1936, he witnessed the dramatic changes that shaped Czechoslovakia throughout the mid-to-late twentieth century.
Truhlář's life spanned from the pre-war era through the communist period and into the final years before the Velvet Revolution. He was laid to rest at Vinohrady Cemetery, one of Prague's most significant burial grounds, where he remains remembered among the community of those who lived through this complex historical era.
