Biography

Václav Vlček (1896–1918) came of age during the final years of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and witnessed the transformative events that led to the creation of the Czechoslovak state. His life was marked by the turbulent period of World War I.

Vlček was interred in Olšany Cemetery, where he rests among the many individuals whose lives were profoundly affected by the historical transformations of the early twentieth century.
