Biography
Valdemar Christensen (1898–1971) was a pioneering Danish cinematographer whose technical expertise and artistic vision helped shape the visual language of Danish cinema. His work behind the camera contributed to numerous films that reflected the evolving aesthetics of twentieth-century filmmaking.
Christensen's career spanned a transformative period in cinema history, during which he helped establish standards for cinematographic excellence in Denmark. His legacy remains part of the foundation upon which Danish film continues to build. He was laid to rest at Søndermark Cemetery.
