Biography
Valery Mezhlauk was a Soviet politician born in 1893 who held significant positions in Soviet economic and political administration. He was involved in important governmental functions during the early Soviet period and played roles in industrial and economic policy.
Mezhlauk was executed in 1938 during the Great Purge and his remains were disposed of at Kommunarka shooting ground, a victim of the widespread political repressions that characterized the late 1930s in the Soviet Union.
