Varvara Lyashenko (1917–1943) was a Russian aircraft pilot and a remarkable figure in Soviet aviation history. Born in 1917, she pursued a career in aviation during a period when women pilots were pioneering new frontiers in the Soviet Union, demonstrating exceptional courage and skill.
Lyashenko's service during World War II exemplified the dedication of Soviet women to the defense of their nation.
