Biography

Vasiliy Ivanovitsj Kopilov (1905–1945) was a decorated Soviet military officer who earned the title of Hero of the Soviet Union for his service and bravery. He served throughout much of the Second World War, demonstrating exceptional courage in combat.

Kopilov died in 1945 in West Pomeranian Voivodeship during the final stages of the war in Europe. His legacy as a Hero of the Soviet Union reflects his significant contributions to the Soviet war effort.
