Biography

Vasily Antonovich Shrut (1847–1910) was a civil servant who lived during a transformative period in Central European history. Born in the mid-nineteenth century, he served in an administrative capacity during the later years of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, contributing to the governance and administration of his community.

Shrut was interred in Olšany Cemetery, where he rests among the many individuals whose professional dedication and service shaped the institutions and life of Prague during a period of significant historical change.
