Biography
Vasily Gudovich was a member of the Russian émigré community who found refuge in Nice during the turbulent decades following the Russian Revolution. He maintained connections to Russian cultural and social circles in exile.
Gudovich lived through the transformative events of early 20th-century Russia and spent his final years in the relative stability of the French Riviera. He passed away in 1945 and was laid to rest in the Russian Orthodox Cemetery in Nice, among many compatriots who shared his experience of displacement and exile.
