Biography

Vasily Obolensky was a prominent administrator and nobleman who served in significant governmental positions during 19th-century Russia. Born in 1846, he held the position of vice-governor, contributing to the administration and governance of the Russian Empire during a period of considerable political and social change.

Obolensky's administrative career reflected his dedication to public service and his standing within the Russian nobility. Upon his death in 1890, he was laid to rest at Korenevo, a final resting place befitting his rank and his contributions to Russian governance and society.
