Vasily Yakimov

Biography

Vasily Yakimov was a Russian botanist whose scientific work contributed to the study and understanding of plant life. Active during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, he pursued botanical research that advanced knowledge in his field and reflected the scientific traditions of Russian academia.

Yakimov died in 1940 and was buried at the Volkovskoe Lutheran cemetery. His botanical studies and contributions to plant science remain part of the scientific heritage of Russia, remembered as part of the nation's intellectual and academic traditions.
