Biography

Victor Adler, a writer by training, used his pen and medical background to advocate for the working people of Austria, founding the Arbeiter-Zeitung and chronicling the hardships that industrialization brought. He championed social justice with compassionate urgency, bringing attention to the needs of laborers and their families.

As a statesman, he helped forge the Social Democratic movement, believing in dialogue and cooperation to achieve lasting reform. Adler's integrity and eloquence gave many a voice and set the tone for humane politics in the empire.
