Biography
Admiral Sir Victor Crutchley earned distinction commanding squadrons in both world wars, demonstrating calm courage as he led convoys and naval forces through the Atlantic and Mediterranean theatres.
In retirement he returned to the tranquillity of Powerstock, where he continued to pray with parishioners at the church of St Mary and to encourage young lives through his example of duty.
