Biography
Victor Dandré, born in 1870, is remembered as a devoted patron and manager who helped bring the grace of Russian ballet to British and European stages, working closely with dancers and producers to ensure both artistry and administrative care.
He remained a steadfast supporter of the performing arts throughout his life, and following his death in 1944 those he aided remembered him for his generosity and practical kindness; his ashes were interred at Golders Green Crematorium.
