Biography
Victor-François-Eloi Biennourry was a French painter whose artistic vision contributed to the visual arts of nineteenth-century France. Born in 1823, he pursued painting during a period of considerable artistic innovation and creative expression in Paris.
Biennourry's work exemplified the dedication of his generation of artists to their craft. He died in 1893 and was interred in Montparnasse Cemetery, where his memory is preserved among the many notable figures buried there.
