Victor Lasalle
1893–1929 (age 36)
Biography
Victor Lasalle came of age in the shadow of the Great War and answered the call to serve by strengthening the French Army at a time when rebuilding and vigilance were both necessary.
He became known for his steady leadership, particularly in preparing young officers and supporting the well-being of his comrades, and his grave at Cimetière de La Salle honors that steadfast service.
