Biography
Viktor Miroshnichenko was born in 1917 in Rognedinsky District. He came of age during the Soviet period and answered the call to service when Nazi Germany invaded the Soviet Union in 1941.
He perished that same year, 1941, in the early and desperate phase of the Great Patriotic War. His sacrifice represents the enormous human cost borne by the Soviet people in their struggle for survival and victory.
