Biography
Vladas Lašas dedicated his medical gifts to serving those shouldering the burdens of conflict, bringing comfort and healing to soldiers when the demand for trained physicians was greatest. His calm professionalism in difficult conditions eased fear and helped sustain the lives of many on the front lines.
After the fighting eased, he continued to use his experience to strengthen the medical services that cared for veterans and civilians alike, always placing the well-being of others first as he tended to both wounds and spirits.
