Biography
Vladas Nagevičius combined military service with an ardent love for history, rising as a colonel while founding institutions that preserved Lithuania’s archaeological heritage.
As the first director of the Vytautas the Great War Museum and a pioneering archaeologist, he built exhibitions that chronicled the nation’s past, ensuring that future citizens could draw pride from their roots before he was laid to rest in Kretinga old cemetery.
