Biography
Vladimir Alkalayev was a Russian jurist born in 1894 who contributed to legal scholarship and practice in the early Soviet period. He was recognized for his work in legal matters during the 1920s and 1930s.
Alkalayev was executed in 1938 at the Kommunarka shooting ground during the Great Purge, becoming one of many legal professionals who perished in the political repressions of that era.
