Vladimir Filippov

Biography

Vladimir Filippov was a distinguished opera singer whose voice and artistry captivated audiences throughout his long career. Born in 1920, he trained extensively in vocal performance and became a celebrated performer in the operatic world, bringing classical roles to life with passion and technical mastery.

Filippov's contributions to opera and classical music established him as a respected artist in Soviet and international musical circles. His career spanned much of the twentieth century, and he remained dedicated to his art until his death in 2004. He was interred at Vagankovo Cemetery in Moscow, where his memory is honored among other cultural figures.
