Vladimir Kantsel was a distinguished Russian actor whose career spanned much of the twentieth century. Born in 1896, he became known for his contributions to Soviet theater and film, establishing himself as a respected performer in Moscow's vibrant cultural scene.

Kantsel's legacy endures through his body of work in Russian cinema and stage productions. He passed away in 1977 and was laid to rest at Vagankovo Cemetery, one of Moscow's most prestigious burial grounds where many notable cultural figures are interred.
