Biography

Vladimir Kokovtsov (1853–1943) was a prominent Russian statesman and politician who served in high-ranking governmental positions during the late Imperial period. As a skilled administrator and diplomat, he played a crucial role in Russian financial and political affairs, earning recognition for his expertise in state management and international relations.

Following the Russian Revolution, Kokovtsov sought refuge in Western Europe, eventually settling in France. In his final years, he remained an influential figure within the Russian émigré community, offering counsel and perspective on Russian affairs. He was buried in the Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois Russian Cemetery, where many prominent Russian exiles found their final resting place.
