Vladimir Stasov (1824–1906) was an influential Russian archivist, music critic, and cultural historian whose scholarly work profoundly shaped Russian artistic and intellectual life in the 19th century. His career spanned eight decades of remarkable cultural development and artistic achievement.

Stasov's contributions extended across multiple fields, including music criticism, art history, and the preservation of cultural heritage through archival work.
