Biography
Voldemar Päts was an Estonian screenwriter whose work contributed to the development of early Estonian cinema. His creative endeavors during the early twentieth century reflected the cultural aspirations of a newly independent nation.
Päts's legacy remains part of Estonia's cinematic heritage, preserved in the memories of those who knew his work and in the historical record of Estonian film. He was laid to rest at Alexander Nevsky cemetery.
