Biography

Władysław Horyd was a Polish soldier who served his nation during a turbulent period of European history. Born in 1892, he answered the call to military service during the interwar years, a time when Poland was establishing its armed forces as an independent nation.

Horyd's military service reflected the dedication of those who helped build Poland's defense capabilities following World War I. He died in 1937 and was laid to rest at Powązki Cemetery in Warsaw, honoring his contribution to his country.
