Biography

Władysław Ludwik Evert was a Polish poet born in 1890 who contributed to Polish literary culture during the interwar period and beyond. His poetic work reflected the intellectual and artistic currents of early-to-mid twentieth-century Poland.

Evert's literary legacy remained part of Polish cultural discourse until his death in 1965. He was interred at the Evangelical Cemetery of the Augsburg Confession in Warsaw, reflecting his Protestant faith and his place within Warsaw's diverse religious and cultural communities.
