Biography

Waldemar Osterloff (1858–1925) was a dedicated pedagogue who shaped the minds of generations of students in Warsaw. His career in education spanned the transformative period from the late Russian partition era through Poland's independence, making him a witness to profound changes in Polish society and schooling.

Osterloff's commitment to teaching and education reflected the values of the Protestant community to which he belonged. He was laid to rest at the Evangelical Cemetery of the Augsburg Confession in Warsaw, where his memory is honored among other distinguished members of Warsaw's evangelical community.
