Warner Underwood

Biography

Warner Underwood was born in 1808 and lived through much of the nineteenth century’s defining moments, approaching each with thoughtful consideration and a calm spirit. He gave his attention generously to the improvement of his local community and to the well-being of his family.

His steady counsel and quiet generosity left a lasting impression on those fortunate to know him, and his influence endured beyond his lifetime. Today he rests at Fairview Cemetery, surrounded by warm remembrance of his life.
