Biography

Warren N. Cuffee, a son of the Shinnecock people, sustained the traditions of his Nation while moving confidently through a time of profound change, carrying forward the dignity of his ancestors.

He was a steady presence who shared stories, upheld ceremonies, and helped younger generations understand their heritage, now quietly remembered at Shinnecock Indian Cemetery.
