Biography
Warren Spahn stood among the greatest left-handed pitchers in baseball history, his graceful delivery and competitive fire anchoring the Milwaukee Braves for more than a decade. Beyond his record-setting victories he was admired as a teammate who demanded excellence yet lifted spirits whenever the pressure mounted.
He later paid forward his experience by encouraging young athletes, offering advice on work ethic and integrity in pitching and in life, a legacy that now rests gently within Elmwood Cemetery.
