Biography

Wesley Everest, born in 1890, was a devoted labor activist whose voice joined the chorus calling for dignity, safety, and fairness for working people. Though his life was brief, he stood with courage amid the struggles of the early 20th century, embracing solidarity with his fellow workers and advocating for the rights of those whose labor founded the nation.

His tragic death in 1919 only deepened the respect of his community, and today the Wesley Everest Gravesite remains a place where visitors honor his memory and the enduring causes he championed.
