Biography
Wilhelm Dierke (1855–1926) applied his skill as a civil engineer to design and oversee public works that stabilized infrastructure during Bulgaria's early nationhood.
He further shared his knowledge with apprentices and collaborated on water and transportation projects, and he sleeps in Central Sofia Cemetery among those who shaped the capital.
