Wilhelm Grünzweig

Biography

Wilhelm Grünzweig was born in 1807 and became a long-lived member of the Brno Jewish community, witnessing nearly a century of European developments. He was part of the community during a formative period in the history of Central European Jewry.

Wilhelm's life extended until 1891, and his memory is preserved in the Jewish cemetery of Brno, where he rests as a testament to the enduring presence and contributions of the community's members throughout the nineteenth century.
