Biography

Wilhelm Levysohn (1815–1871) was a politician who engaged in public service during a complex period in Central European history. His involvement in political affairs reflected his commitment to civic engagement and his concern for the welfare of his community during the 19th century.

Levysohn's memory is preserved at the Jewish Cemetery in Zielona Góra, where he was laid to rest. His burial place reflects his identity and his place within the Jewish community of this important Polish city.
