Wilhelm Pfänder

Biography

Wilhelm Pfänder (1826-1905) was part of the generation that helped build New Ulm, bringing the strength of the German-American community to the Minnesota frontier.

His quiet devotion to family and local institutions is still recalled by descendants who visit New Ulm City Cemetery to honor his memory.
