Wilhelm Singer

Biography

Wilhelm Singer was born in 1851 and became an integral part of the Jewish community in Brno. Throughout his life, he experienced the cultural flourishing and challenges faced by Central European Jewry during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Singer's life concluded in 1919, and he was interred in the Jewish cemetery in Brno. His nearly seven decades of life represent a significant chapter in the history of Brno's Jewish population during a transformative era.
