Biography

William B. Shattuc built a career in Cincinnati's wholesale hardware trade and parlayed his understanding of commerce into public service, culminating in a term representing Ohio's Second Congressional District where he advocated for the interests of his neighbors.

After his congressional service he remained a steady presence in civic affairs, supporting educational initiatives and the institutions that nourished the Queen City, and he was laid to rest among fellow citizens at Spring Grove Cemetery.
