William Constantine Beecher

Biography

William Constantine Beecher came into the world in 1849 and spent his years honoring the ideals of integrity and community responsibility. He lent a steady hand to the work of civic improvement, always mindful of how his efforts could strengthen the lives of those near him.

When he departed in 1928, friends remembered him as a thoughtful gentleman whose presence had brought comfort and calm to many, a legacy preserved beneath the branches of Green-Wood Cemetery.
