William Eugene Drummond

1876–1946 (age 70)

Biography

William Eugene Drummond apprenticed under Louis Sullivan and absorbed the emerging Prairie School sensibility, creating homes and public buildings that married simplicity with natural materials.

He later became a steward of that architectural heritage, mentoring younger designers and ensuring his modest yet thoughtful structures would be cherished long after he was laid to rest at Forest Home Cemetery.
