William Farley Peck earned the trust of his community through years spent running his business affairs with fairness and a concern for employees and customers alike, extending that same practical sense to municipal and charitable endeavors. He was respected for his warm demeanor and clear sense of duty; he died in 1908 and was laid to rest at Mount Hope Cemetery.
