William Gregory

Biography

William Gregory (1849–1901) spent his years surrounded by the rhythms of the Elm Grove community, upholding the values of diligence and quiet service that sustained generations of neighbors. His steady presence through the latter half of the nineteenth century reflected a life devoted to family, friendship, and the everyday labors that knit the community together.

Those who knew him remember his unassuming care for the people and places around Elm Grove, and he was laid to rest in Elm Grove Cemetery where visitors may still pause beside the stone marking his grave.
