Biography

William Hall built ships with a meticulous eye for detail, shaping vessels that journeyed across oceans while maintaining a firm anchor in the lives of those in Footdee and beyond. His craftsmanship inspired confidence in sailors and merchants alike, earning him wide admiration for both skill and integrity.

He is remembered at Saint Clement's, Footdee, as much for his generosity to families of the harbor as for the hardy ships that bore the mark of his careful labour.
