William Harllee

Biography

Born in 1812, William Harllee came of age in a time of quiet farms and worship at Hopewell Presbyterian, giving his best efforts to keep the congregation and surrounding families steady through years of change.

He remained a devoted presence along the little churchyard road, and the peace of Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery now holds the gratitude of the people who knew the warmth of his hospitality.
